Whether it’s for your health, your peace of mind or the planet, there are many benefits to eating less meat. This week is National Vegetarian Week and we thought we’d take the chance to share some great vegan recipes. Whether you’re cutting down or cutting out, you don't need to feel like you’re losing something. Take the chance to explore new recipes, try new things, and broaden your dietary horizons.

Cornflour is a real game changer when it comes to tofu, helping add some texture and lock in the flavour. Even the most avowed meat eaters love this dish and you can’t beat it’s sweet and rich flavours. It hardly takes any time at all either so it’s a great weeknight dish when you just wanna relax ASAP!

This hummus pasta isn’t one to miss. Once you’ve got a few pasta recipes under your belt though, the rest come easy and it becomes a matter of picking some veg, whipping up some sauce and chowing down. Don’t be afraid to throw things together and see how it turns out, let your creative side loose. You won’t regret it!

Gaz Oakley is one of the most popular vegan youtubers, recently working with Wagamama to create vegan dishes. There are so many resources online now that usually, you can find a vegan recipe for whatever you want to make.

This vegetarian week why not try something new, with more vegan and vegetarian options available than ever before there’s never been a better time to cut down on meat.
